Well, it's time to do some closet cleaning...Sam is starting to look like the baby hulk in everything that I dress him in, so we're officially moving up a size.
And I know it's getting repetitive but I cannot believe we have a three month old!
Sammy is truly a delight every single day. Fussing is still rare and he wakes up so happy to see and talk to us (and the ceiling fan). His vocabulary is expanding to include "Nnnngoo" "Guh googa" "Ah a-ooo" and he's trying so hard to join in conversations. He is starting to squeal and chuckle and laugh which is pretty much what we live for. Pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo are both good ways to get a smile. He still hasn't quite figured out thumb-sucking and instead prefers to cram as much of his hand into his mouth as he can. Sammers is really enjoying reading time; he sits quietly and studies the pictures, then gets excited and tries to talk to the book's characters. As he has gotten better at holding his head up, he prefers to sit up and then locks his legs to try to stand. We've transitioned from the bassinet to the crib (Mommy had a harder time than Sam with that one). He's really starting to practice his rolling over, too. He still loves to exercise his legs and kicks at almost anything or anyone that is within reach of his feet. Sammy has been to mommy's office a few times this month and is such a big help; he only fusses if he's hungry and is so friendly and enjoys visiting our co-workers. Mommy and Daddy had their first official date night this month and everyone survived (thanks, Momma Jo)! Daddy has gotten to give Sam a few bottles and they both really enjoyed that special bonding time.
Samuel continues to amaze me every single day and each morning, I can't wait to get up and see what wonderful new thing he has learned.
