A wedding in a barn

So....my baby brother got married. The ceremony and reception were out at the family farm and it was surreal and wonderful and gorgeous and perfect. The whole weekend was truly a group effort - everyone pitched in and made it a super-fantastic event. It totally could be featured on one of those wedding-stylist-diy-blogs. And of course there was a photobooth - it wouldn't be an official wedding without one ;)

So I'm just going to finish off the month of September with one giant blog post; I'm sure all of Sammers' fans won't mind, right?

The obsession with cars and trucks, really anything with wheels, continues to grow.

Our sweet neighbor Ralph blessed Sammers with some fantastically realistic trucks, furthering his fixation with wheels.

Another-year-Wiser

Today was Wiser's ...mumble-something... birthday.

Sammers brought Daddy some breakfast in bed,

and then we all went to the Science Museum for some fun exploring and learning time together.

Wiser & I did get to go out for a scrumptious parents-only dinner at Local (featuring one of our favorite local chefs Ryan Parrott - everyone should go there!) but got home in time for some pretty hilarious tickle-party-giggle-fest with Sammy. A happy ending to another successful year.

Daily SFA + Heidi

We enjoyed sharing our home with new friends this weekend; meet Daniel and Heidi.



Heidi is a fellow kindie musician who plays the ukulele and she & Daniel shared a show at Evoke with SFA this afternoon. It was a really great time - she is super entertaining! At one point, there was a four man ukulele jam.









Some of the fans at the show noticed that Heidi resembled another character from American pop culture...



Yup! In another life, Heidi was also known as Susan Ross, George Constanza's ill-fated, poison-envelope-licking fiancé on Seinfeld! Crazy, huh?!
